The Anchor of My Soul.

I usually keep my faith personal. But the truth of it is that my faith is very much a part of me. And when the journey gets rough, the beams of light and rays of hope that emanate from it to bathe me in comfort and warm me with the blessings of home remind me how grateful I am to have its beauty in my life and how much more I can become because of it.

All alone I leave the harbor
So many oceans to explore.
On my own I face the darkness
As I leave behind the safety of the shore.

When I'm tossed upon the waters.
When winds of change begin to blow.
His words of truth I will follow.
The Savior's hope is the anchor of my soul.

Sailing on to deeper waters
The journey starts to take its toll.
And I am lost amid the battles
That test my faith and stretch my soul.

When I'm tossed upon the waters.
When winds of change begin to blow.
His words of truth I will follow.
The Savior's hope is the anchor of my soul.

Voices of the night
Trying to tear me from the fight.
But somewhere deep inside my heart I know
That when I'm tossed upon the waters.
When winds of change begin to blow.
His words of truth I will follow.
The Savior's hope is the anchor of my soul.

All alone I leave the harbor.

Ah, we miss you so much Amy! I am sorry that I read your blog so sporadically, I usually feel unworthy to leave a post :-) Our faith is amazing... and the miracles it achieves in personal growth and in the world is unsurpassed by any other. Have you heard much about Glendale 7th? How much it has grown? I love you!
